Our trip to the zoo is next Thursday, March 7. We will be boarding
the bus at 9:00, so please make sure your child is here on time and
dressed for the weather (including sneakers and an appropriate jacket).
Our class will be wearing blue shirts to help with easy identification.
Your child's field study fees include lunch at the zoo. If you have not
paid all of your child's fees for the year, I will send you an email.
Lunch includes: Hot dog (plain), potato chips, animal crackers
and a drink box. If your child prefers a lunch from home, he or
she is responsible for carrying the lunch box the entire field trip.
We will leave the zoo at 1:00 to return to school.
We are allowed to have one chaperone for the entire field study,
including the morning program. That one person will need to either follow
the bus (leaving school at 9:00) or meet us at the zoo's front gate (9:45).
We can have additional chaperones meet us for lunch and zoo
exploration after our program is over. If you would like to join us,
meet us at the lunch hut at 11:30. Additional chaperones will have
to pay their own way or use their zoo membership.
***If you are interested in being a chaperone (entire field study or lunch
onward), please send me an email.
