Agenda Ticket Reflections:
Starting on Friday, 12/7, students who receive a classroom consequence will be given the agenda ticket below to complete so they can reflect on their behavior and discuss it at home with a special adult.  Please check your child's agenda regularly and make sure they bring it to school each day.

What are We Learning This Week?

Math:

Topic 8 Envisions: This unit will focus on two-digit addition. Students will learn how to regroup 10 ones into 1 ten.

Literacy:

• This week, we will finish a story from our Treasures textbook, Abuelo and the Three Bears. We will learn about homonyms. Our phonics skills will use the letter combinations of /ph/ and /gh/ as well as /ough/ and /augh/.
• After finishing our Treasures story, we will conduct an author study on Cynthia Rylant. We will not have a reading comprehension assessment on the author study.
• We will have a review spelling test with words from our past spelling lists on Dec. 19 (words are on the right of this blog page).
• We will write informational writings based off of science experiments.
