Our field study to Edventure is Thursday, May 9.  More information will be coming soon.  Please let me know (email/note) if your child needs a school lunch or if he/she is bringing a lunch from home.
Chaperones:
This is our final field study of the year.  We have paid to cover the cost of two chaperones, but more chaperones are allowed if they are willing to pay their own way.  Chaperones can meet us at school and follow the bus (leaving around 9:15) or they can meet us at the museum (arriving around 9:45).  Please email me and let me
know if you are willing to chaperone, so I can ensure we have adequate coverage.

Reading & Math MAP Testing is scheduled for April 3 - 10th.
Each classroom
will test on two days during that testing window (Second Grade: Reading
on April 4 at 9:00, Math on April 9 at 9:00).  The MAP test is administered
in the Fall and in the Spring to measure each student’s academic growth.
Please ensure that your child is in attendance on their scheduled testing date.
There will be one day for makeup testing, but students perform much better when

taking the test with their own class and teacher.
