Camp Discovery is thrilled to share two very important announcements with you.  We have our 2019 Earth Keepers Summer Camp dates set.  Please review the attached flyer to see details about each of our 5 exciting weeks of camp.  New for this summer, we have added a week dedicated to supporting our local teachers as they prepare for the 2019-2020 School Year.  During the week before students report back to school in August, Camp Discovery will hold a Last Blast Before Summer’s Passed Camp for teachers’ children.

We have also officially kicked off our Annual Campaign, “Donate Discovery.” Please visit our new Donate Discovery link to see the new and innovative plans we have in store for 2019.  Your Donate Discovery gift(s) will provide the children in our community with the necessary items to participate in a variety of nature-based educational experiences including:

Discovery Days:  Full day SC Standards-based, STEAM field studies for grades K-12
Discovery-to-Go: Staff Facilitated Program customized for schools to extend Discovery Days experiences
Discovery-to-Go Teacher Backpack:  Instructional Resource Kit for Teachers
Community Treehouse:  Make a Big Dream Come True for our Community!

As a part of the annual campaign we wanted to focus on teacher appreciation.  The "Thank a Teacher" portion of our campaign is designated to support the camp week for teachers' children and demonstrate other appreciations throughout the year to support local teachers.
